Summer Little NetBusters

Little NetBusters is GRASC’s introductory soccer program for our youngest players, designed to create a fun, positive first experience with the game. Sessions focus on age-appropriate movement, basic ball skills, and enjoyment rather than formal gameplay, all in a supportive environment.

Little NetBusters is a five-week introductory soccer program for 3- and 4-year-olds, focused on fun, movement, and a positive first experience with the game.


Ages

Appropriate for U4 players (ages 3–4).

This is a coed program designed specifically for first-time and early soccer players.

When

The Little NetBusters program runs in late May through June, weather and field conditions permitting.

The program is structured as a five-week session.

Where

All sessions are held at West Rapids Elementary School in Grand Rapids.

Practices

Little NetBusters does not have separate practices.

Each weekly session serves as the instructional and play time.

Sessions

Sessions are held on Sunday afternoons:

  • Time: 3:30–4:00 PM
  • Format: 30-minute sessions focused on fun, movement, and basic soccer skills
  • Sessions are led by high school players and volunteer coaches using a curriculum tailored to young players.

There are no formal games at this level.

2026 Summer Little NetBusters

Little NetBusters is Grand Rapids Area Soccer Club’s introductory soccer program for 3- and 4-year-old players, designed to create a fun, positive, and low-pressure first experience with the game. This program is ideal for young children who are new to soccer and are just beginning to explore movement, coordination, and basic ball skills.

Sessions focus on age-appropriate activities, including running, kicking, dribbling, and simple games that encourage participation and enjoyment rather than formal competition. There are no standings, scores, or traditional games at this level—our goal is to help players feel comfortable on the field, build confidence, and associate soccer with fun.

Each weekly session is short and engaging, recognizing the attention span and developmental needs of young players. Sessions are led by high school players and volunteer coaches using a simple curriculum tailored specifically for this age group. Parents are encouraged to remain nearby to support their child as needed.

Little NetBusters provides a welcoming introduction to GRASC and helps prepare players for future programs such as Future Stars, while keeping the experience light, playful, and developmentally appropriate.
