Coaches and Coordinator Needed
Little NetBusters โ Coaching Staff Needed
Our Little NetBusters program (U4, ages 3โ4) introduces our youngest players to the game over five Sunday afternoons in May and June. To make it happen, we need a Program Coordinator and a crew of 8 high school coaches. Curriculum is provided by our Director of Coaching โ neither role is about planning, it's about showing up, organizing the kids, and bringing the energy.
Role #1 โ Program Coordinator
Our on-site lead each Sunday. You manage the team of 8 high school coaches, communicate with parents, hand out jerseys, and keep the program running smoothly. About 10โ15 hours of total commitment across the five-week season.
An organized, dependable adult who's comfortable with little kids and their parents. Available all 5 Sundays.
- Be the on-site point person each Sunday โ first to arrive, last to leave
- Manage the team of 8 high school coaches: schedule, check-ins, follow-ups
- Communicate with parents โ welcome email, weather updates, weekly reminders
- Hand out jerseys and keep program logistics running smoothly
- Curriculum and session plans are provided by our Director of Coaching
Role #2 โ High School Coaches (8 spots)
Calling all high school soccer players โ boys' and girls' teams welcome. Help run 30-minute Sunday sessions for our youngest players. Lead drills, play games, and bring the fun. $125 flat stipend for the season (prorated for missed sessions).
Why Coach?
- Cash in hand before summer break
- Coaching & volunteer hours for resumes and applications
- Build leadership skills working with little players
- Be a role model for the next generation of GRASC players
- Honestly โ 3-year-olds running at a soccer ball is the best content of your week
How to Apply โ Both Roles
Text or email Sean "Marty" Martinson with your name (and grade, if applying as a coach) and any experience working with kids. A short conversation is all it takes โ happy to walk you through what's involved.
Please share with friends, teammates, or anyone who might be a fit. Help us get our youngest GRASC players off to a great start!
