Summer Future Stars Soccer

Boys and Girls (Coed Teams) Birth Years 2018-2013

GRASC Future Stars will play in-house at Grand Rapids area fields.  We are looking at the option to travel and play in the Hibbing League adding a possible Saturday game in Hibbing.  If that turns out to not be an option we will look at scheduling more games in Grand Rapids.  Travelling to Hibbing allows us the opportunity to play other Iron Range teams.  The league starts first thing in May when fields are ready.  Much depends on weather and field conditions.  Teams typically play one evening game and one weekend game per week.  Teams typically practice one night a week with the addition of a second night for the U10 group.

  • Season May through June
  • Co-ed teams for players in birth years 2018-2013.
  • Registration Fee $100
    • Registration includes a jersey for game days.
    • This is a new jersey for the 2023 season.
    • Please refer to this sizing chart during registration.

Summer Rec Travel Soccer

Boys & Girls Birth Years 2008-2012

The Summer "recreational" traveling teams compete in the Arrowhead Youth Soccer Association.  We participate in what's called the AYSA Recreational level.  This means there are no tryout and no cuts.  Teams in this league will travel to the Duluth and Hibbing areas as well as hosting home games.

The teams are not coed at any level.

The season runs May through June with playoffs in early July.

AYSA follows the US Youth Soccer birth year calendar which follows the calendar year instead of school year calendar.  That means your child is placed in the age group based on how old they will turn by the end of the current year.

Summer Tournament Only Soccer

Boys & Girls Birth Years 2007-2004

Levels above U15 will be doing a tournament-only schedule (we are working with other tournament only teams to add scrimmages).  Families can sign up for as many tournaments as they want to for the summer.  For the boys, there will be an in-house league play offered similar to the past two years.   Girls will be dependent on the number of registrations.

Base Fee - $100  (due at registration)
Each player will add-on their tournament fees based on the tournaments selected.  To participate in a tournament, we need enough players to make a team.  Every attempt will be made to have a team playing at the appropriate age level.  For example, a U14 player would not be playing on a U19 team at a tournament against other U19 teams.  Players will be moved up only if needed and based on skill.
