Grand Rapids Area Soccer Club Fundraiser Success

The Grand Rapids Area Soccer Club is thrilled to announce the successful completion of our recent Vertical Raise Fundraiser, which cleared a little over $14,000. This achievement marks a significant milestone as we continue to grow our club. Fundraising is crucial for the success of our program, ensuring that each athlete has the best experience possible.

The funds raised will play a pivotal role in reducing the costs associated with traveling teams and will also help establish a scholarship fund for future players. As a 501(c)(3) organization, all donations to our club are tax-deductible, making your contributions even more impactful.

We are pleased to share how these funds will be allocated:

Tournament Needs and Equipment: $4,000 will be set aside to cover various tournament-related expenses and necessary equipment, ensuring our teams are well-prepared and equipped for their games.

Establishing the "Grand Rapids Area Soccer Club Fund": $10,000 will be transferred to the Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation to establish the Grand Rapids Area Soccer Club Fund. This designated endowment fund aims to make soccer more accessible to youth in the Grand Rapids area by covering equipment costs, fees, travel expenses, and other necessary expenses for team members who might not otherwise afford them. The Foundation will manage and hold the Fund, ensuring its continued impact as long as the need exists.
